HADIMBA TEMPLE

Magnificent is the only introduction for this craft par excellence. Built-in 1550 A.D it has a four-tiered pagoda roof. Famous for its exquisitely carved doorway, Hadimba is dedicated to the goddess-turned-demoness Hadimba, the wife of Bhima. If we believe in local stories, Bhima killed demon Tandi the brother of Hadimba to marry her. For local people, it is Dhoongri Mata temple. SOLANG VALLEY

According to a legend, Manikaran is also associated with Lord Shiva & his consort Parvati who lost & recovered her earring here.

ROHTANG

The highest point on Manali Keylong road, it offers ample skiing and trekking opportunities at an altitude of 3980 mtrs. Situated on the Kelong-Leh highway, the pass offers a widespread panorama of mountain scenery. It is directly opposite to Sonepani Glacier slightly left to the Twin Peaks of Geypan.

VASHISHT TEMPLE

Vashisht Temple of Manali is situated beside the bank of Beas River. The best part of this place to visit in Manali is the hot water bathing pool it offers to the visitors. The Vashisht Temple is basically located in the Vashisht village in Manali. This place is just 6 km away from Manali and it is completely built on the traditional architecture. MANU TEMPLE

Manu Temple of Manali is another place to visit. It is 3 km far from the main town. The overall structure of this divine temple is the very fine example of the old-style stone masonry. The deity of this temple is Manu, the writer of Manusmriti. It is the prime attraction in Manali. There are some pillars of Manali which are built by joining the heavy boulders together. Not only the external beauty but the temple is also known for its old-age history. The divine place is so silent and peaceful for the souls of the visitors of the temple.

NAGGAR

Naggar is the ancient town situated in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. It was the former capital of the Kullu kingdom. There is a castle called the Naggar Castle is a mansion of wood and stone, overlooks the beautiful valley Kullu. Now, it serves as the rest house and also the tourist location. It possesses the art gallery which includes the several paintings which were made by the Russian artist Nicolas Roerich. The collectable belonged to him are also on the display for visitors.
